Very different first-timers win classic road race

A couple of first-timers, albeit very different first-timers, won the 21st White River Classic 4-Mile Road Race on Saturday morning. Terry Smith, who has run the race many times, won it for the first time. He took the men's overall title with a time of 25 minutes, two seconds. Liz Sanderfur, running in the White River Water Carnival event for the first time, won the women's overall title in a time of 29:42
