Starting at Eagle Mountain Elementary School

600 Eagle Mountain Blvd.

Batesville, AR

On November 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2009 a group of ladies with the team name "Pink Pirates" are going on an amazing journey in the fight against breast cancer!! The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer research, education, screening, and treatment. The team as a whole has to raise $25,000.00 just to be able to walk. Please make at least a $15.00 donation for registering for our walk as we try to get our money raised to go. The $15.00 is not a set entry fee that's just what we are asking. You can donate more or less. Thank you so much and we look forward to walking/running with you in this event!!!!

T-Shirts will be given to all pre-registered racers/walkers - on day of race t-shirts will be given out while they last, so please pre-register. Registration deadline will be July 10, 2009.

This will be a night time race. There will be a childrens race after the adults 5k race. We encourage the children and adult runners to wear their Pajamas and bring their flashlights. Kids will be given a neon necklace to wear during the race, also you can bring your own and really look like a space alien running through Eagle Mountain. Upon crossing the finish line they will receive some sort of reward. We will also provide the kids with ice cream.

Please make the checks out to "The 3-Day Walk". We have a savings account we are depositing all donations in until the deadline for the money to be turned in to The 3-Day. Please mail your checks and entry forms to: Lisa Drake-Cooper, 1785 Sun Valley Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.
