Clinton man, local woman win Classic titles

The White River 4-Mile Classic Road Race saw the emergence of one brand new champion and the reemergence of a former champion. Todd Hink of Clinton won the race for the male division for the first time ever, while Candace Bennett of Batesville won her second women's' title. Bennett won the title in 1993. Hink said he had come to Batesville in hopes of running against Brian Baker, a Batesville native who just narrowly missed making the Summer Olympic games, has won the 4-mile classic seven times.
